Earlier this year, I was introduced to an opportunity to visit Italy. The course would be two weeks in length, two of the days would be spent on the campus of Hillsdale college with crash-course prep work for our adventures to come. The course would entail education in western civilization's art, architecture, philosophy, religion and politics.

I've done my best to compile my stories here to share with friends and family. I kept a journal the entire time, and that's what everything you see here is based off of.

All of the pictures you see here were taken by me (except for a few, which are noted), and I do have full resolution versions of them all, if anyone is interested in them for desktops, prints, etc. Many of them will also be posted here.

One final note: I was asked by a certain special someone to either eat for two or take pictures for him of absolutely every meal that I had in Italy.. That's why you'll see pictures of food for every day. :)
